Pumps
GATHER Industrie’s magnetic drive gear pump is made
from stainless steel, Hastelloy or titanium and may be used as dosing pump,
process pump or for laboratory service. The hermetically sealed gear pumps
convey and meter in a non-pulsating manner even non-lubricating liquids such
as water, salt solutions, solvents, acids and caustic solutions.
As low-maintenance process pumps they can be optimally integrated into
existing systems; when used for metering or dosing service they enable
highly precise and reproducible flow rates to be attained.
Based on the magnetic coupling and making use of new materials GATHER
Industrie constantly advances the pumps originally intended for laboratory
service to optimum acid or caustic solution pumps used in pilot facilities (miniplant)
and for process technological applications.
It goes without saying that the pumps meet the requirements of the Pressure
Vessel Code and are ATEX compliant for use in hazardous areas.

Gather Gear pump
The GATHER magnetic-drive gear pump is a hermetically
sealed process pump.
It is used in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, water management and
medical technology applications primarily for the pulsation-free conveying
and dosing of non-lubricating liquids such as, for example, water, aqueous
liquids, salt solutions, acid, caustic solutions and solvents.

Dosing technology
The GATHER dosing pump is the smallest magnetic drive
gear pump of product series 1.
Having as few as 12 teeth the width of the individual tooth is only 1.5 mm.
The pump characteristics and the standard pump casing materials offered can
be seen from the characteristic curve diagram and the tables shown below.
The pump head is compatible with all drive units of product series 1 with
x-magnet system.
At a capacity ranging between 0.3 and 83.3 ml/min a highly precise dosing
performance is achieved with this pump.

Pump materials
All magnetic drive gear pumps supplied by GATHER
Industrie are capable of conveying or dosing non-lubricating liquids.
Why? For one thing, this is due to the fact that the pump is flushed
internally by means of the conveyed fluid and, moreover, is attributable to
the materials used: Optionally, the casing and shaft materials may be
stainless steel (material No. 1.4404 or 1.4571), Hastelloy (C-276, material
No. 2.4819) or titanium (grade 2, material No. 3.7035).
These materials warrant high strength and excellent chemical corrosion
resistance properties at temperatures of up to +350°C.
